Right after a sumptuous lunch at Shakey's and a fun afternoon of watching the movie Praybeyt Benjamin, we went home to prepare a simple dinner celebration. Making a Nut Pesto was my first choice for a pasta dish since we find it the most affordable, the easiest and fastest pasta dish to prepare but then when you have all the big boys who just never grew tired of eating a Filipino style spaghetti, you simply give in to the demand. In exchange, I asked one of them to bring home a Red Ribbon Cake for Mom, surprise us with something we've never tried as we always buy our all time favorite Coffee Crunch Cake for just every birthday celebration.

Red Ribbon's Newest Offering - Mocha Choco Crumble
Last Valentine's Day I bought home a box of Red Ribbon's newest cake offering, the Mocha Choco Crumble. Every one of us wanted to try how this cake tastes like, it looks mouthwatering. "Heavenly mocha chiffon layers bursting with rich mocha cream, layered and topped with crunchy chocolate crumble." Both the tv and print ad are just irresistible, perfect indulgence for the sweetest day of the year...or so I thought...

Coffee Crunch Cake - My Favorite Red Ribbon Birthday Cake!
This Coffee Crunch Cake from Red Ribbon is one of our family's all time favorite cake flavors. Tempting layers of cream cake with delightful coffee crunch in between and topped with delicious honeycomb crunch. I like eating it alongside their palabok meal. Furthermore, this cake has always been a familiar treat for every family member's birthday. Last January 18 was my sister's birthday, she's now 20. A special child of God like her with special needs deserved to be gifted with a special treat.
Coffee Crunch cake is priced at Php340 (Junior) - Php540 (Regular) and can serve 6-8 persons.
Truly whatever the celebration, it's more beautiful with a Red Ribbon!
