Recipe: Easy Mixed Vegetable Fried Rice

We Filipinos love to experiment on left over meals, fried rice is definitely among the most sought after Pinoy breakfast favorite. It can go from the simple ginisa version to the Chinese inspired Yang Chow rice. My version is a combination of both, something home chef wannabes can easily prepare. :)

Ingredients:
a pack of ready mixed vegetables (green peas, carrots and corn)
chopped garlic and onion
salt and pepper to taste
soy sauce
left over ham or meat loaf
left over rice

Procedure:
1. Saute garlic and onion until golden brown.
2. Place in the mixed vegetables until they are cook before adding the leftover rice.
3. Add left over ham or meat loaf and season with salt and pepper.
4. For added taste, mix in the soy sauce one tsp at a time depending on your desired taste.
